Samvel Hambardzumyan birth date:
May 29, 1953 Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.
Professional Education:
From1969-1973 he was a student of Terlemezyan College in Yerevan, Armenia.
From 1973-1979 he was a student of Fine Art Institute Yerevan, Armenia.
In 1981 apprenticeship etching, Moscow-Senezh (creation house).
From 1982-1984 scholarship of USSR Artists’ Union.
Since 1982 member of the USSR Artists’ Union.
Biographical data:
Until 2002 Samvel lived in Yerevan. Since 2002 he lives in USA.
Since 1975 he participated in group exhibitions:
In 1982 Manezh - Moscow “The Youth of the Country.”
In 1989 Poland - Biennale “Male Formy Grafiki Lodz 89.”
In 1992 Japan - Tokyo “TIAS” International Art Show
In 1996 Egypt-Cairo-“6th International bienalle.”
In 2005 Italy “Florence Biennale”
- recipient of The Biennale International "Lorenzo il Magnifico" award
